Why are we looking for an Internal Sales & Invoicing Officer at DESOTEC UK?
Due to our continued growth team, we’re looking for an Internal Sales & Invoicing Officer to support our UK team.
As Internal Sales & Invoicing Officer no two days are the same – and that’s exactly what makes it so exciting. Your job is made up of three key parts, giving you plenty of variety and the chance to develop a broad skill set:
Internal Sales:
Be the first point of contact for our (potential) B2B customers in the UK – both in speaking and in writing
Handle new commercial requests and prepare quotes
Create sales orders in our ERP system (Navision – moving to Microsoft Dynamics in 2025)
Follow up with customers and prospects through our CRM system (Salesforce)
Support our Sales Engineers with administrative and commercial tasks
Invoicing:
Process and follow up on incoming invoices and payment reminders
Monitor approval workflows for purchase invoices
Record purchase invoices and bank statements
Book expense reports
You’ll also act as a backup for the logistics department, stepping in when needed to keep operations running smoothly:
Help manage and optimize logistics operations
Ensure compliance with transport and customs regulations
Administer waste-related documentation according to UK legislation
Handle logistics-related admin tasks
Collaborate closely with internal teams for smooth communication
As Internal Sales and Invoicing Officer, You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team of driven colleagues within our UK hub – with all the support, innovation and ambition that comes with being part of the international Desotec group.
You’re well-organized, detail-oriented, and accurate – you get things done efficiently and on time.
You love variety and multitasking, and switching gears quickly comes naturally to you.
You communicate clearly and confidently, both within your team and externally.
You’re a team player who integrates easily, but you also thrive when working independently.
You have a strong commercial instinct and aren’t afraid to take initiative or solve problems hands-on.
You hold a bachelor’s degree (e.g. in Business Administration).
You’re comfortable working with ERP and CRM systems, and you have excellent knowledge of MS Office.
You express yourself fluently in English, both spoken and written.
Bonus: Some knowledge of accounting is a definite plus!
