Lab Technician (Tuesday-Saturday)

What do you do as a Lab Technician at DESOTEC?
You perform quality controls on virgin activated carbon, regenerated carbon, and gypsum.
You also carry out acceptance analyses on spent activated carbon.
You use high-quality equipment, including XRF and ICP, for your analyses.
You analyze water samples from our own water treatment installation and production departments.
You ensure accurate analysis and interpretation of the results.
You enter results into our ERP system (currently Navision, later Microsoft Dynamics 365).
You work closely with your colleagues to complete the analyses successfully and regularly communicate with colleagues from other departments within DESOTEC.
You provide general support to the lab team and step in when needed.
You work from Tuesday till Saturday. No Monday blues for you!
What does your team look like as Lab Technician at DESOTEC?
Our lab team consists of 12 motivated and enthusiastic individuals who give their best every day under the leadership of our equally driven and enthusiastic Lab Manager, Lieselot. Are you also an enthusiastic person with the drive and motivation to give your all every day together with the team? Then you will for sure feel right at home with us.

Who are you as Lab Technician?
You have a bachelor’s degree in a chemical or scientific field.
Work experience is not required, but having experience is a plus.
You easily switch between tasks and enjoy the dynamic nature of variety.
You are fluent in both English and Dutch (both spoken and written).
You are well-organized and can easily change priorities.
You are a true team player, always ready to assist colleagues, but can also work independently.
You work thoroughly, accurately, and with a keen eye for order and cleanliness.
You respect safety instructions.
You love fries.

You work a 38-hour week with flexible hours (starting between 7:45 AM and 8:45 AM) from Tuesday till Saturday, with a shorter workday on Saturday.
In addition to your statutory holidays, you will also receive 3 company days that you can plan as wanted (in coordination with your colleagues).
