Maintenance Technician

We are looking for someone to be an integral part of our Darlington, PA location.  Under general supervision, performs a variety of general maintenance duties which include electrical, mechanical, welding, plumbing, and servicing equipment just to name a few.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance

• Problem solves mechanical devices and electrical equipment in operation

• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts

• Assist with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC system, changing filters, bearings, etc.

• Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments

• Maintains inventories of equipment, parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders

• Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance

• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests

• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent / Technical School preferred  

• One to three years Maintenance Experience

• Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment

• In-depth knowledge of system maintenance

• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment

• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software

• Good interpersonal and time management skills, along with attention to detail
