As part of our Waste Solutions team, you play a key role in ensuring DESOTEC complies with European waste legislation. You manage documentation, permits, data, and processes that keep our waste activities compliant and well‑organized. You collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders - including government bodies across Europe - to maintain clear communication, accurate reporting, effective workflows and regulatory compliance.

Regulatory & Compliance Management
You make sure our waste‑related activities fully comply with European regulations.
You manage all required documentation, ERP recordkeeping, permits, and licenses.
You work closely with national and international environmental authorities and address compliance issues in accordance with legislation.
Document Management
You keep our waste documentation well‑structured, accurate, and always audit‑ready.
You check operational paperwork—such as transport documents —to ensure accuracy and compliance.
You support internal teams (e.g. Sales) by providing timely and compliant certificates and waste related documents.
Licensing
You manage all waste transport permits and licenses across the DESOTEC group.
This includes preparing applications, handling renewals on time, and maintaining strong relationships with licensing authorities to ensure continued compliance.
Training & Knowledge Sharing
You onboard and train new team members, share best practices, and provide constructive feedback. You create and collect useful content—such as guidelines and case studies—and train other colleagues in effective document management and best‑practice workflows.
Continuous improvement
You review waste administration workflows, spot inefficiencies, and implement improvements that increase efficiency, reduce risks, and help ensure compliance.
Data collection
You collect and analyze data from our ERP system using standard tools and methods. You turn this information into clear compliance reports that support senior leadership in maintaining regulatory oversight.
You will join a team of four wonderful, driven waste solutions colleagues. You report to our waste Solutions Manager.
You have a bachelor degree ideally with 3 to 5 years relevant work experience;
You are naturally driven and hands‑on, and you always look for solutions;
You excel in accuracy and have a strong eye for detail;
You communicate fluently in Dutch, English and French, both spoken and written. Knowledge of German is a strong plus;
You have a good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
You enjoy working as part of a team, but you can just as easily handle tasks independently;
You are assertive and feel confident communicating with external stakeholders.
