Accounting and Finance Analyst

Desotec is currently looking for a Accounting and Finance Analyst to join our growing team in our Darlington, PA U.S. Headquarters. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills and a solid understanding of financial principles. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in strategic planning to support the organization’s financial goals. The Accounting and Finance Analyst will play a crucial role in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that the company remains financially healthy and competitive. Job Duties

Controlling & Monitoring

•             Monitor budget adherence and cost center performance

•             Support month-end and year-end closing processes

•             Review and analyze actual vs. budget/forecast variances

•             Ensure proper accounting classification and documentation

Reporting

•             Prepare monthly management reports and KPI dashboards

•             Provide ad hoc reports and analysis to support decision-making

•             Assist in financial statement preparation and audit support

Budgeting & Forecasting

•             Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts

•             Collaborate with business units to collect inputs and validate assumptions

•             Maintain budgeting tools and templates

•             Help identify risks and opportunities in financial projections

·                Cross-Functional Support

•             Partner with operations, sales, and HR teams to understand business needs and financial impact

•             Support internal financial controls and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications & skills (mandatory and preferred)

·         5 to 7 years accounting and financial analyst experience

·         Financial Modeling

·         presentation skills

·         attention to detail

·         strong communication skills

·         Microsoft Office, Power BL, Tableau, ERP Systems

Education

·         Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
