As our Logistics & Administration Officer in the UK, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly – managing logistics, ensuring compliance, and supporting the team with crucial administration. Due to our continued growth team, we’re looking for a Logistics & Administration Officer to support our UK team.
Take ownership of day-to-day logistics operations and continuously optimize processes to keep everything running smoothly
Schedule the filling and emptying operations in close collaboration with the Operations Team Leader.
Ensure full compliance with transportation and customs legislation, as well as waste-related records in line with UK regulations
Handle and drive key administrative activities related to logistics
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure clear, efficient, and seamless communication
Make strategic decisions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen overall logistics and administration performance
As Logistics & Administration Officer, You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team of driven colleagues within our UK hub – with all the support, innovation and ambition that comes with being part of the international Desotec group.
Relevant work experience in Transport and Logistics Management
Holding a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is a strong advantage
Proven leadership skills and the ability to work independently
Solid knowledge of transport and customs legislation
Familiarity with UK waste legislation is a plus
