Do you have the talent to maintain oversight in a complex warehouse environment and thrive on coordinating logistical processes? Do you get that “wow” feeling when everything is seamlessly planned and all parties are satisfied?
As a Planning Specialist at DESOTEC, you will play a key role in our team. Together with your fellow planners, you ensure that all our filters are refilled with the correct carbon – a challenge with significant responsibility and a lasting impact on a sustainable future!
DESOTEC is an international environmental services company that helps protect the planet with sustainable mobile filtration solutions for the purification of liquids and gases.
We have approximately 450 employees, united in Generation D., who are all committed to helping protect the planet by driving positive ecological change across all industries.
Private equity funds managed by Blackstone acquired DESOTEC in 2021.
Thanks to our rapid growth, colleagues within the company are taking on new responsibilities, creating an opportunity to further strengthen the team. We’re ready for you to start quickly, and we’re happy to adapt to your availability. You might already read between the lines, but we’ll spell it out clearly: DESOTEC is a fast-growing company with countless career opportunities (and the need to refill this position is living proof of that 😉).
Independently manage the planning for refilling small filters using our ERP system, Navision, which will be replaced by Microsoft Dynamics in 2025.
Collaborate closely with your colleagues to monitor the execution of the planning, making adjustments where necessary to ensure optimal results.

Actively participate in daily logistics meetings about large filters, sharing and receiving critical updates.

Accurately record information about incoming and outgoing goods, both digitally and physically.
Take responsibility for precise stock management in the warehouse.
Assist drivers and process transport documents accurately.
Provide new employees with a warm welcome and handle the ordering of PPE and workwear via the internal ordering system.
Report directly to our Warehouse Manager and play a valuable role in our team.
You’ll join our Distri 1 department, where you’ll play a key role in the team. In this position, you’ll report directly to our Warehouse Manager. The team consists of seven enthusiastic colleagues who are all eager to welcome you and work together on our mission!
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree or have equivalent experience.
You’re a strong communicator in Dutch, English, and French (both spoken and written). Knowledge of German is a plus.
You excel at giving clear instructions and have no trouble motivating others.
You are analytical, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented. You’ll manage stock in both Excel and Navision (soon to be Microsoft Dynamics).
You’re skilled at prioritizing and thrive in a team environment. You coordinate planning with your fellow planners, deciding together which filters take priority.
You are hands-on and a problem solver. When something doesn’t go as planned, you enthusiastically find solutions.
Logistical experience as a planner is a plus, and if you have a forklift license, crane license, and/or a CE driver’s license, that’s a significant advantage.
If you can’t check every box but fully identify with our three core values – Teamwork, Excellence, and Devotion – we encourage you to give it a shot!
