What do you do as process operator at DESOTEC?
As a Process Operator, you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of advanced technical installations. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical insight and precision.
You are responsible for the optimal production of high-quality reactivated carbon. Through your correct adjustment of the process parameters, you will achieve optimal production output.
Operational responsibility: You are in charge of starting up, operating, monitoring, and shutting down various technical installations.
Problem-solving: You analyze technical malfunctions and carry out the necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure production runs as efficiently as possible.
Optimization processes: You actively contribute ideas for improvements to current processes and propose adjustments to increase efficiency and sustainability.
You perform tasks using a forklift.
What does your team look like as a process operator?
As a process operator, you will join a team of fantastic colleagues in Rumbeke. This team consists of technical operators, forklift drivers, and a team lead.
Who are you as a process operator?
We are looking for a new colleague with a solid technical background (mechanics, electricity, etc.) and a passion for technology and innovation.
You speak English and/or Dutch fluently.
You have a forklift certification.
Analytical and problem-solving skills: You possess strong analytical abilities and can quickly detect and solve technical problems.
Hands-on mentality: You enjoy taking on tasks and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty.
Team player: You can work well in a team environment, but you’re also capable of working independently.
Flexibility: Willingness to work in a shift system.
Safety-conscious: You always work with a focus on safety and strictly follow procedures
